Portrait of my favorite musician.

Male or female, if you have never listened to country music, this Australian singer just might turn your head for a look in it's direction. He does it all. He writes most of his own songs or helps co-write them. He also plays several different instruments, from piano, keyboard, gango, bango, sitar, drums, to bass guitar. But by far his best instrument is the guitar, both electric and acoustic. In all the live broadcast proformances that I have seen him in, he has never fallen short. Whether playing a solo act, on the CMA's, or sharing the stage like on the Billboard awards, or the Grammys, he has always shined or out shined whoever he was on stage with. In short the man knows how to rock an audience right. As a guitarist Jimmy Hendrix was good but this guy is better. A thousand times over. He doesn't need to play with his mouth to impress. What he can do with just six strings is nothing short of amazing. I could listen to his music with or without lyrics for hours. Speaking of which this lyricist has written some of the most soul touching songs that I have ever heard. And his voice is. . . Well words just can't describe it. You have to hear him for yourself.
He's not country music's 2004 male vocalist of the year for nothing.
